Builds for Slavers Empty
PostSubject: Builds for Slavers   Builds for Slavers Icon_minitimeMon Feb 16, 2009 2:39 am

Since i was playing the ele and had the bonder monk and spirit ranger (only at forgewight) i can only provide these builds. I hope that the others of the team will post their builds too later on.

The First subdungeon. Justiciar Thommis and Rand Stormweaver.
The second subdungeon. Selvetarm

We used the same build for these first 3 bossses.

The nuker.

[build prof=ele/any energy=12+1 fire=12+1+3 water=3][searing flames][glowing gaze][teinai's heat][searing heat][meteor shower][maelstrom][glyph of lesser energy][fire attunement][/build]
template: OgBDo8OMP0txaRkYAMuGIDcB

this build is to do lots of damage in a few seconds. [[Searing flames] is optional and can be replaced with [[savannah heat]. Since [[searing flames] does directly set every1 on fire i kinda liked it. and if there is a second ele with [[savannah heat] it's good.

The bonder.

[build prof=monk/any divine=12+2 prot=12+2][zealous benediction][protective spirit][reversal of fortune][blessed signet][balthazar's spirit][vital blessing][life bond][rebirth][/build]
template: OwAS8YIPX66xMJlIPCJxDZC

The [[rebirth] is kinda optional, we didn't really need it. And most of the time it's best for the whole team to die when it's about to fail to avoid massive DP from being ressed at the wrong places.

The ranger.

[build prof=ranger/ritualist marksmanship=5 expertise=7 channeling=8 beast=11 wilderness=8][barrage][splinter weapon][distracting shot][frozen soil][edge of extinction][winter][gaze of fury][flesh of my flesh][/build]
Template: N/A atm

[[Barrage], [[frozen soil] and [[gaze of fury] are a must when going into this dungeon because of all the res signets the enemy has as well all the spirits that randomly spawn and when they are spirits of disenchantment offer a threath to the tank.

The thirth subdungeon. Forgewight.

The Nuker.

[build prof=ele/any energy=12+1 fire=12+1+3 water=3][searing flames][glowing gaze][teinai's heat][searing heat][meteor shower][maelstrom][glyph of lesser energy][fire attunement][/build]
template: OgBDo8OMP0txaRkYAMuGIDcB

This build doesn't work that well on targets that can be set on fire. (note that the boss can be set on fire eventho it's a djinn). However like 50-60% of the dungeon foes are still stone summit on which it works just fine. But you thus might reconsider the elite and takes something like [[savannah heat] and then you can also consider to take [[fire storm] instead of [[glowing gaze].

The Bonder.

[build prof=monk/any divine=12+2 prot=12+2][zealous benediction][protective spirit][extinguish][blessed signet][balthazar's spirit][vital blessing][life bond][rebirth][/build]
template: OwAS8YIPX66xrLlIPCJxDZC

[[Extinguish] is a must since you will face a lot of [[searing flames] foes. the hard res is once again optional.

The ranger.

[build prof=ranger marksmanship=4+2 expertise=7+2 wilderness=10 beast=12][barrage][distracting shot][crossfire][serpent's quickness][frozen soil][edge of extinction][winter][resurrection signet][/build]
template: OgAUY57h1MNLmHTvF5cdgOOHBAA

This time we had a ritualist that had [[splinter weapon] that he could cast on the ranger, that's why it's not in the build (he also had [[gaze of fury]). in this dungeon [[winter] and [[Frozen soil] are of high importance and have to be there all the time. If there is no [[winter] the nukers will do almost no damage against all the fire foes. And if there is no [[frozen soil] all the stone summing will resurrect their fallen allies. That's why there is [[serpents quickness] in this build. For fast recharge of the spirits. In the case that they are destroyed by the fire area damage of your foes you should be able to put them back up very quick.

4th Subdungeon. Duncan

For this final level in slavers i was once again nuking and had the bonder and the necro with me.

The nuker.

[build prof=ele/any energy=12+1 fire=12+1+3 water=3][searing flames][glowing gaze][teinai's heat][searing heat][meteor shower][maelstrom][glyph of lesser energy][fire attunement][/build]
template: OgBDo8OMP0txaRkYAMuGIDcB

The bonder.

[build prof=monk/any divine=12+2 prot=12+2][zealous benediction][protective spirit][reversal of fortune][blessed signet][balthazar's spirit][vital blessing][life bond][rebirth][/build]
template: OwAS8YIPX66xMJlIPCJxDZC

Altho we brought [[reversal of fotune] with us you might consider to bring a hex remover cause there are a lot of necro caster in this last subdungeon.

The Necro.

[build prof=necro/any soul=12+2 blood=12+1+1][spoil victor][signet of sorrow][blood ritual][no skill][no skill][no skill][no skill][no skill][/build]

As you can see this build has quite some optimal spots. Since the necro will be really only needed for the defeating of duncan (you need [[spoil victor] and [[signet of sorrow] for that) and for giving energy boosts to the rest of the team when trying to get to duncan ([[blood ritual]) some nice skills for the optional places are [[strip enchantment], [[foul feast]+[[plague sending], [[life siphon] +[[blood bond], [[angorodon's gaze] and if you consider to spent points in curses you can bring [[enfeebling blood] and or [[suffering]
When considering to put points in death magic you might take [[verata's aura] (atho there is only one group with a MM)
[[rotting flesh], [[deathly swarm], [[putrid explosion] and or [[well of suffering], Basically as long it's some form of area of effect spell it will make your necro usefull while fighting the big groups of stone summit.

Here is the Obsidian Tank build that we used for Slavers Exile.

[build (PvP) prof=w/e earth=12 strength=12][glyph of concentration][Obsidian Flesh][optional][stoneflesh aura][grasping earth][endure pain][dolyak signet][signet of stamina][/build]

Template Code: OQYSk4IPJDtBA4r2K2KplBL

Optional Skills:

[Pain Inverter] : For some damage output (useful in Forgeweights level)

[Armor of Earth] : For some extra armour

[Feel No Pain] : For some health regeneration and extra life if used while drunk (useful in duncans level)

[You Move Like A Dwarf] : For knocking down and snaring pesky monks who refuse to die

Usage:

The object of the tank is to gather all the aggro so that the nukers can come and kill everything.

The rest of the groups should be out of the tanks aggro bubble range and set up the spirits. Make sure you have your bonds and enchantments on.

Now, when u aggro the group you want to try to be on a corner or against a wall, so that the enemy just ball up around you. Usually it will mainly be the melee enemies that ball up around you but as soon as the nukers attack the enemy casters will move forward.

When you have got the aggro, call when you use [[Grasping Earth] so that the nukers know when to come in.

This is all you need to do really Very Happy

Tips:

When you are taking, try not to move at all.

Keep up [[Signet of Stamina] permanently and use [[Obsidian Flesh], [[Dolyak Signet] and [[Stoneflesh Aura] as soon as they recharge.

Before you aggro, use [[glyph of concentration] so that when u cast [[Obsidian Flesh] you wont get interupted.

On Duncans level watchout for pop up Restless Dead and the patrols of dwarves, you don't want to be fighting them at the same time.

Before aggro'ing, make sure there are no spirits of disenchantment nearby.

On Selvetarms level you can just run into the room with the undead and grab the key and even though you will get 15% Death Penalty it saves alot of time. You can also run past the Chained Clerics on Selvetarms level as they are a pain too kill, but watch out for the Crypt Slashers that pop up.

Hope this helps and good luck with Slavers!

Here is the Elementalist variant.

[build prof=e/me earth=12+3+1 inspiration=12 air=3][glyph of swiftness][obsidian flesh][stoneflesh aura][armor of earth][mantra of resolve][i am unstoppable][grasping earth][no skill][/build]

Equipment:

Anything with a 20% long enchantment mod, Galigord's Stone Staff is perfect.

16 in Earth Magic is required to keep [[Obsidian Flesh] up permanently.

Variants:

[Ward of Stability] instead of ["I Am Unstoppable"]

[Ward Against Foes] instead of [grasping earth]

Optional Skills:

[Pain inverter] : For some damage output (good for Forgeweights).

[Feel no pain] : For some extra health regeneration and if you use it while drunk, extra health.

[you move like a dwarf!] : To kill those pesky monks who refuse to die (useful on Duncans level).

[Ward of stability] as well as [i am unstoppable] : For permanent anti-knockdown.

This build has several advantages in that it can never be interupted and you can keep obs flesh up permanently. However, unless you bring two anti-knockdowns there will be a short period where you will get knocked down, which can be very annoying. Otherwise, just use this build in the same way you would use the Obsidian Tank shown above.

Hope this is what you were after.
