Right, so I heard some news about the pricing of GW2. Maybe everyone knows this stuff already but I hadn't really thought about the price before ^^ I wanted to get the collectors edition of gw2 because well, I think they are cool. To get a collectors edition you need to be 2 things. A diehard nerdfan, and rich. Unfortunately, I am not as rich as I hoped. £130 for collectors edition makes me upset. So there goes that plan. You do get a char figurine though. I really wanted that. So much.
The Digital Deluxe version is around $80, where you just get a in game mini, but no figurine. /cry. You also don't get all the books, maps, art and soundtrack stuff. Which does sound pretty cool.
You get a fair bit of in game stuff in these 2 editions: a miniature char, elite skill and some one time unlocks. The fact that there is a skill that is only available to people who paid extra makes me a little dubious of things to come in the future, and possibly sounds like we will need to buy unlocks. I hope not, I don't like that business model.
The standard edition comes with the game. But will be around $60, so pretty standard for a free-to-play MMO.
So my dreams of a char figurine are ruined. Life is a cruel mistress. Here's hoping GW2 will make up for it

). But getting an elite skill. Man We all know what happend to ursan. It was over powered if you did not had that elite in a team you were not welcome. And now it's nerfed and as soon you see some1 with it you just know you play with some tard thta completly wasted his build with shit skills. So yeah it's retarded idea to give elites skills just for paying extra, Or mb this is their new idea of making money. You want to customize your build. You can buy an extra elite skill for 3 pounds. Way to go.
