Dodging Pin Down

All the archers in the game have pin down, and it's a pain in the ass. Generally using your keyboard you will not dodge it easily (the npcs are crafty motherfuckers). The best method I have found for dodging it is by (while zoomed out) clicking around randomly when pin down is coming - this will make your character run in random directions and will in theory help you dodge pin down (or cripshot) with more success. Of course, it's not 100% successful, but it has proved pretty helpful to me and with practice you can dodge the majority of incoming cripple.

In this screenshot I clicked roughly where the green dots are and as a result the pin down shot went somewhere off to the right of the screen.
