Nicholas The Traveller: Forest Minotaur Horns Empty
PostSubject: Nicholas The Traveller: Forest Minotaur Horns   Nicholas The Traveller: Forest Minotaur Horns Icon_minitimeFri Sep 18, 2009 3:13 am

This weeks Gifts of the Traveller require two Forest Minotaur Horns per gift. This is the build I used to farm them.

[build prof=W/N Strength=8+1 Swordsmanship=9+1+1 Curses=11 Tactics=8][Mark of Pain][Ebon Battle Standard of Honor][Hundred Blades][Whirlwind Attack][Endure Pain][Sprint][Dolyak Signet]["To the Limit"][/build]

Template Code: OQQUc2ISzKSWC5i9F7gbFdFpF8EA

Equipment:
- Insightful (+5^50) Staff of Fortitude
- Zealous (15^50) Sword of Fortitude

Usage:
- Begin in Temple of Ages and run through The Black Curtain to Kessex Peak (watch out for poison from swamp water and pop ups along the way).
- Once you reach the portal you can kill the minotaurs that inhabit that area.
- Aggro 4-8 minotaurs and try to stand against a tree or wall.
- Switch to your high energy set. Cast [[Mark of Pain] on one of the attacking minotaurs and then [[Ebon Battle Standard of Honor], [[Hundred Blades], [[Endure Pain] and [[Dolyak Signet].
- Charge your adrenaline with [["To the Limit] and by attacking, once charged cast [[Whirlwind Attack] and they should all but be dead.
- There are about 24 minotaurs to kill. Don't try and kill the boss, Rage Maulhoof, as he has a large amount of health, heal and interupt.
- Once you have killed the minotaurs rezone into Kessex Peak and then back into The Black Curtain.
- Try not to die because the nearest spawn point is quite far away Razz

Once you have your 10 horns, Nicholas the Traveller is located in Kessex Peak, past the swamp and on the far side of the large area inhabited by patrolling minotaurs, on a cliff by the sea.
